The resident services team is on site around the clock. Main reception is in Assay Heights at 6 Soho Yard, Sheffield, S3 8GY.

Building access

Your electronic fob gives you access to:

  • Main entrance doors
  • Lifts
  • All communal areas
  • Cycle storage and pet wash (if specified to the team)

To leave the building, press the green “PRESS TO EXIT” button by the main entrance door. Do not use the green “Break Glass” unless there is a genuine emergency.

Door entry intercom

Every apartment has a wall-mounted video/audio intercom in the hallway next to the front door. When a visitor buzzes your apartment number from the entrance panel:

  1. Their image appears on your monitor
  2. Press the button to talk without opening the door
  3. Touch the unlock button to let them in

Visitors can also contact you from the reception entrance panel.

Visitor access

Guests can enter by dialling your apartment number on the video/audio entry panel outside the building or in the entrance lobby. You can open the door remotely from your intercom.

Guests must be accompanied by a resident at all times in communal areas. You are responsible for their behaviour and any damage.

Postcodes

The building uses several postcodes depending on your floor and building. Common ones include:

Delivery tip: Some postcodes don’t work with all delivery services. If Just Eat or Deliveroo can’t find your address, try S3 8GY or S3 8DN. For Amazon, S3 8HU and S3 8GY are reported to work reliably. Check your tenancy agreement for your official postcode.

Post and parcels

  • Letters: Check your post box at the entrance to your building
  • Parcels: Delivered to the secure Parcel Safe room — you’ll receive email/message notifications from Parcel Safe when a parcel arrives (you’re set up automatically at move-in)
  • Grocery/takeaway deliveries: Must be collected by you directly from the courier

CCTV is in operation 24/7.

Residents portal

The Soho Yard Residents Portal lets you:

  • Report repairs and maintenance
  • View tenancy documents
  • Access appliance user manuals
  • Communicate with neighbours
  • Stay up to date on community updates

You should receive login details after move-in. If not, ask the team.
